Added some tailgate bling

Did some fun stuff on my tailgate area today. Cut out the PO rollpan, added brackets and bumper, put on my newly registered Cali commercial black plates and had my friend Manny do a quick job of painting in the letters and adding some pinstriping to the tailgate, and glove box.
Now back to the greasy stuff.

^ This.

And the striping is super cool. Tasteful and not too much. Love the lines.

Re: Added some tailgate bling

Thanks fellas. Somewhere along the line a previous owner did the seatbelt latch thing..so thats what i got. Good thing i have long arms! Terd, i found those bumper bracket covers you mentioned...in the Brothers catalogue. When they get here i will pull the bumper, smooth and prime the unpainted panel exposed when i cut the roll pan off and prime the brackets. I need to get some cable supports to hold the tailgate up too. This **** is fun!

I don't know if you've got AdvancedAutoParts there or not, but my local store sells different length cables for around $10.

Re: Added some tailgate bling

Thanks for the props! Ill post up a pic of the glove box pinstriped tomorrow. Terd..ill check out my local auto parts store...see if i can find me some cables. Slepysal, the covers mount to the tops of the brackets. The bumper brackets i got from LMC have a hole in the top of each one...assuming thats where they attach?
