Fan Shroud?

I read a detailed post with pictures detailing how to make your own fiberglass fan shroud. I thought it was here, but I'm having no luck with searching. Anyone else seen it or am I losing brain cells faster than I thought? Otherwise, if I use a 27x19 radiator like the one from Summit what fan shroud can I use for a manual fan. I'm thinking of doing away with the electric one. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Fan Shroud?

Yeah if you're going to use one of the universal radiators, you'll need to build your own shroud. I haven't seen any threads here on building a 'glass one. Although there are a couple of threads on here on how to make glass kick panels with speaker pods. The same principals should work for a fan shroud. I believe FrizzleFry has a link in his sig to the ones he did. If I find something else I'll post it up.

Thanks guys! Steverino66 that is not the post I read before, but it is exactly the same process that I was looking for. I could not remember what the buck was made of. Once I decide on a radiator I'm going to try to make one. This board rocks! thanks again!
