Columbus Goodguys?? Anyone goin? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

We're leaving at 8am thursday morning. Taking the scenic route, planning on being at the grounds for registration by noon-1pm.

We're also staying in Worthington at Motel 6.

There's about 10 going in our group.

Anyone else going?

I had some plans on going with a buddy from ohio and meeting up with borris (streetmachinery) but my new shop has me stuck, i heard its one of the best shows

Im going to Boris' shop tomorrow morning. I need to grab a sleeve bag for my buddys 49 Ford shoebox.

And as far as Columbus, its the biggest GGs show they have. Weather pending, easily between 6000-7000 cars/trucks.

We have a blast there. This is our 9th straight year going.

I'll be there Friday AM with my 2 boys.

We're staying a the Days Inn, right across the street from the Motel 6

We'll have about half a dozen cars in our group, give or take the last minute thrash.
Seem's that GG show always motivates people to finish up their projects.

Im heading up friday for the auto x and be there all weeekend. Where are these hotels..If I remember right those hotels are in a part of town where every one stays and its like a car show in its self. I thought about staying up there but im only an hour away. Id like to meet a few of my fellow members..

but Im still awake, and too excited to sleep.

This is 9 straight for us, and I did 1999 just myself, so 10 for me.

Just look for the Ghetto white 63 Burb with shi**y, wrinkled portawalls, and you may find me.

Just got home from the shop... Cars are almost done... Unloaded a REAL Indy car to put on a COE that we just finished up... You will not miss that... Two cars ready to compete for SMOTY are just about ready... Hammered Chevelle and a Hammered Trans am... Look for us at the autocross and me to be crusing around in my 64. Time to do laundry and pack!
