Homemade Socket organizer
I finally got to bring my tool box home from my parents house in Alabama. I moved out 5 years ago, so I figured it was time to bring it at ATL. I dont have a garage or space in my storage building so I took over the "utility" room. Its pretty much the room off the carport that houses the water heater and freezer. Its small to boot. I believe its a 6x6. I decided to get creative. I put up some shelves and some peg board for storage. I decided i wanted my tool box to be organized too so I went to Northern Tool to look for some socket organizers. I found some really cool ones but they were like $13 each and I needed 6. Im a poor broke college student so i decided I could make some that were just as good. So here is what I got. After the glue dries Im gonna spray them black. I used wooden dowels that were 1/2, 3/8, and 1/4 in diameter. Oh yeah in the spot where the step stool is, Im gonna get a small work bench from Harbour Freight that will go in that little space.
