Need help deciding rim width
I like the ET street radial 325/50R15 28 tall, tread is 11.6, and section is 13.2 I think. So should I run a 10 or 12 inch rim. Wheel manufacturer say's 12 and Mickey T say's 10. I'd like your opinions

Re: Need help deciding rim width
Narrowed rear end? I'm just not fond of street tires on extra wide rims sticking way out of the fenders on rigs

Re: Need help deciding rim width
Well the whole tire wheel combo thing is killing me, I like the taller rims 17-18 but it seems if I don't have one prob it's another with sizing on both wheel size and tire size. To keep it short yes narrowed rear

Re: Need help deciding rim width
M/T site calls for a 9-12" rim and the measurements given about the tire are based on a 10" rim.
Always go by the tire manufacture regarding approved wheel size. The main difference between the narrow or wider rim will be the sidewall bulge. Narrower rim will create more rounded bulge, wider rim will give more of a flat sidewall. Narrower will also give you more sidewall flex, which can be good depending on what you are doing.
