Hello from Ft. Worth

I'm from Ft. Worth, I bought a '72 C10 in May. I've started restoring it. So far I've got the engine pulled and quite a bit of sanding done. I don't know a lot about engines or restoring vehicles so I bought the truck to learn more about it all.

There's a good chance you've seen my truck before. I bought it from a lady that lives across the street from the post office on Las Vegas.

Re: Hello from Ft. Worth

Really?! Small world. That engine was pretty rigged up. That old man that drove it before he died had a broken motor mount that he repaired by chaining the engine down. I work on it in Everman at my grandmothers garage because I live in an apartment.

Welcome to the group. Very good info here, and lots of friendly advice. Your reason for buying your truck was the same as mine. Good luck
