That is ONE sweet 69 K10! Did you figure out the gear ratio yet?

Yep, I finally pulled the diff cover and checked the ring gear markings: 4-17-68 date and 4:10 gearing..... sweet! While I had it off I installed my new polished, finned aluminum diff cover (I have always wanted one of these and this is the perfect truck to put one on).

Over the past three weeks I also located a set of 15x8 Rallye wheels, sanded and painted them, swung by Summit Racing just south of town and picked up a set of new polished aluminum beauty rings (15x8) and installed my new tires (32x11.5 BFG MTs). I also bought a used, but never installed 2inch Tuff Country set of front springs and shocks (all brand new) off Craigslist. Once I got the wheels and tires on, I realized the truck sat nice without it, so I am going to hold off on installing it for now. Here are some new photos of my progress. What do you think?

Dude, nice score! Sweet truck! personally, I'd leave it like it is and get rid of that lift kit...
