Looking for a 2wd SWB Frame

I have a 2wd SWB 68 Chevy that I am restoring. Little did I know when I bought it that the front frame horns are bent. I know I could take it to a body shop and get it straightened which is still an option. Just seeing if something is available in the North Texas, Oklahoma area that is for sale at a reasonable price that is straight that I could pick up and build then just transfer the body over to it. If you have something or know of something please let me know.

Thanks!

James

Thanks for the information GC I appreciate it. I really wasn't sure what it would cost and that might be the direction I end up heading. Haven't really checked on pricing yet. Just curious what does TTT mean? I've seen it and "Bump" on here before but don't have a clue what they mean

$200 for a rolling short bed chassis is a good deal IMO! Wish you lived closer to me, I'd buy it for my 67!

Re: Looking for a 2wd SWB Frame

You know it's not out of the question I would make the drive to Port Neches for the right frame. Can you PM me your email or phone number and I can give you a call. Any chance you can send me some pics? jamesboehler@sbcglobal.net.

Thanks,

James!

Re: Looking for a 2wd SWB Frame

I wanted to show you the pictures of the top shock mounts that has been welded up. This is the only problems I see with the frame. These areas could be ground and cleaned up fairly easy. . Hope this helps.
