Re: To bag or not to bag...Help

Finally got all my parts together, should be able to get started really soon. Just want to mention that I am really impressed with the quality of parts from ECE and Suicide Doors. The bag plates & drop spindles are way clean, and the D2600’s are beefy!

So I am trying to decide if I should continue with this thread or start a new one that has all my truck updates in one spot?

Start a new one in the projects and builds category and post a link here when you get it set up. If not, a mod will move it anyways

3/8" line, rear bags mounted in the stock sping location. Possibly a small frame notch, but not sure.

Re: To bag or not to bag...Help

theirs cross member problems. out back i don't think so unless theirs lowering blocks and after that im still pretty sure no. I believe you would have to ditch the trailing arms and go for a 4 link or 3 link.

Up front you need a drop member or Z the frame and use spindles and such. Its quite a bit more extensive then putting them in the stock location. With out a notch frame laying on the rear axle its still like 8 inches off the ground or something like that but the bag will only compress another inch inch and a half or so i believe for me. so theres still in the neighborhood of 6 inches there. drop blocks could get you 2" inches closer. but still...that's 4 inches.
