Flat black pics

Ok folks I am toying with the idea of painting my 71 flat black. Can you guys post any pics? I kinda like the black on black on black look. Also I have a 81 that I am starting for daughter and I am thinking a two tone red and white look would be good. what do you guys have color wise? Thanks

Re: Flat black pics

Did you try search? It seems there have been several threads asking the same. Most go with satin black rather than flat. You want something that will seal.

Re: Flat black pics

The perfect example of a 67-72 flat black is ESLL's truck. I'm sure someone has pics of his truck. My 64 is flat black with door art. I like flat black.
One bonus, the body work doesn't have to be perfect.

Re: Flat black pics

I've heard "suede" as well, referring to satin of flat paint jobs.
