1972 dealer installed GM Mark IV AC setup

I recently purchased a 72 Jimmy with this setup in the back of the rig.

I have the pump (still rotates) and intake bracket, condensor, drier, under dash setup with fans etc.

I will post pics and am asking $50.00 plus shipping. If you see a part or parts you need to get your system up and running, let me know.

Re: 1972 dealer installed GM Mark IV AC setup

is it a complete system?
Shipping would prbably kill the deal, but try it anyway to 40272

Re: 1972 dealer installed GM Mark IV AC setup

Let me get some pictures. Trying to locate the camera. I think it is missing a hose or two.

The pump weight would probably kill the shipping deal as it is quite heavy. I am guessing $60-70 shipping Fedex ground Not quoting this price, but let me get the pics on and then decide how interested so I can find boxes and get a quote.

Re: 1972 dealer installed GM Mark IV AC setup

OK, here are some pictures. Basically, it is parts and not a complete setup. If you want pieces of it, brackets etc let me know. The plastic part where the chrome vents mount to has several cracks. The compressor turns over free and the blower motor, POA and relay look good. The drier is there and the condensor.

I want to get rid of this and do not have a box big enough to get the under dash unit in so I could cut the black plastic part to ship the evaporator/blower motors. Again, if you have one of these set ups and I can help you out with some parts shoot me with what you could use. Parts sold as is since it was not running.

I would make an assumption the unit was installed in 1972-1975?

Re: 1972 dealer installed GM Mark IV AC setup

Hello John H.
$50 is more than I should spend for what eventually will be needed, but I can give $30 for the whole package and save you some effort by picking it up at your place as soon as I can get up there this summer. Need to get and drive home a 69 Longhorn recently purchased (it is up in Arlington).

If the price is OK, can you put the parts in a corner and hold for a little while?
Thanks, CCCC
