Ladies and Gentlemen, and kids of all ages
I present the Startup.
I hope this worked. We got her going today with only a minor adjustment on the dist. I had seated it incorrectly. The video is only 15 seconds long, but it's been a long 9 months since we got this engine built. I'll make another video soon. I'm walking on AIR Enjoy all you V-6 lOVERS.

Re: Ladies and Gentlemen, and kids of all ages
Sounds awsome! I was wondering what a 305 sounds like. I'm buying a '63 GMC from my friend's uncle and it has the same motor (plaid VCs too). Is there any exhaust system in the video or is it "open headers"?

Re: Ladies and Gentlemen, and kids of all ages
The headers are running Wild and Free, I should put on 2-1/2 " or 3" in about a month.
You should hear it with the hearing air in, I had to take out the batteries.

Re: Ladies and Gentlemen, and kids of all ages
Remember Kids don't try putting your hand around the upper rad hose while the engine is running to close to the fan, at home! LOL. Thank you for the info in the Historical/This I Know Thread.

Re: Ladies and Gentlemen, and kids of all ages
Remember kids, don't let your left index knuckle touch the Hot A** exhaust pipe! No project is truly finished until you have scars. This burn will probally leave one.
One the hose by the fan ther is a LOT of room. I was able to score from Dirty Dons in Californai a matched set of 3 groove pulleys wih the correct fan. So at a later date I can add A/C if needed - wantred.
