Working on Truck Again!

Man, it's been about 5 months since I did anything to the truck. My wife had me doing some remodeling around the house. I put a new floor, granite counters, sink and faucet in the kitchen. I started back on the truck today. Installed the headers and clutch linkage.....Man It felt nice to work on the truck again. Check out the pics.

LOL! Now that your started back up, you're gonna be addicted to your truck now, bro! Your wife better run, or have a seat...it looks like you're going to be a while working on that truck of yours.

Re: Working on Truck Again!

Nice ! Before you get to far, those square foam blocks go on the inside of your heater box on your new heater core ! Lots easier to get at now !

Re: Working on Truck Again!

Not to jack the thread, but I've never seen those foam pieces before - my truck doesn't have them and when I took mine apart it didn't have any in it. What are they for?

Re: Working on Truck Again!

The foam pieces also help keep cold air out and the hot air in making the heater work better. Cold air can go past the core and straight into the cab, or with the fan on, hot air can push out around the tubes.

Looks Good! Is that an aluminum water pump or just painted to look like one?

Well, you did give your wife a new kitchen, right????? That should buy you some quality time with your truck project.
