1967 Chevy big window original

I picked up this truck last night and the cab looks to be almost rust free, one of the best cabs that I have seen in awhile that has not been fixed. There were no doors on the cab, PO used them for another truck. The paint loooks to be original and the wood bed is gone too. it was missing the gear box that was removed by the PO. The trim on the bedsides looks to be in very good condition along with the whole bed. It shows 76000 miles on the odometer and could be original looking at the truck. The PO owed 400.00 to the DMV to it will be a parts truck. The vin shows it to be a V-8 truck.

Wow, that was the $1 Craigslist one, correct?

Man what a deal. Looks like a good start. What's the plans?

Re: 1967 Chevy big window original

Here are a few more pictures of the big window. It looks like it still has the original shocks on it but not sure. The truck has all 4 shocks like this one but the front ones look to be a little bit different.

That was the one. My son in law is going to use the 67 front end and the rest I am not sure yet. It seems to be a shame to use for parts but oh well. I saw the build sheet under the seat so I will be checking that out today.

Re: 1967 Chevy big window original

I am using the front fenders for another project. He wanted the truck gone fast and I am not that far from him so I guess I was lucky that I was the first to inquire about it.

Re: 1967 Chevy big window original

lets not turn this into a parts thread.

The shocks aren't original, those are coil over/overload shocks. Common parts store item back in the day

Sure wish my big back window cab was that solid, really can't imagine the PO starting to part it. Rust belt dreaming LOL.
