Big Block engine mounts

I am going to put a Big Block in my 68 soon. I have a set of 67-71 engine mount stands and mounts, and a set of 72 stands. I think I would like to use the early ones as they would be more period correct. Is one type better than the other; other than the 72 mounts are hard to get. I will sell whichever ones I don't use.

Re: Big Block engine mounts

The 72's are a stronger design than the earlier type saddle stands....I would use them.

They use the same mounts as the 73-up

Here is a link to this being discussed right now: http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...d.php?t=353450
