Attention! Those that used Blazer gas tanks in trucks
I would like to see what you have done for filler necks and doors when relocating fuel tanks from cab to under bed using a Blazer style tank.
Thanks for any input. Kevin

Re: Attention! Those that used Blazer gas tanks in trucks
No pic,but a friend brought a neck up through the floor at the bedside and boxed it.I think he had an exhaust shop bend pipe for the neck.I don`t remember how it filled.I think he hinged the side marker.I like grafting filler doors in.
I saw where a guy brought it straight up to the bed rail and used a stainless screw-in marine filler. That was super clean.

I made a door and put mine in the bed of my truck...I don't have any pics of it though.

I think I'm going to do the flip-down tail light method. There's a thread somewhere around here about it.

88-98 silverado (or 2nd gen S-10) fuel doors look and work pretty well. You can check my build thread for the install I did on mine.

Re: Attention! Those that used Blazer gas tanks in trucks
I just did mine yesterday so its pretty raw still. It is a piece of 5 inch square tubing cut at a 45 with a piece of 16 gauge welded over the top. I still have to cut a hole in the top for my marine style fuel filler but you get the idea
