cruise control help

I bought my 1984 GMC classic and had to so some other work on it now I am down to fixing the cruise control. It does not work so where do I start? Appreciate any suggestions.

Re: cruise control help

Unplug the cruise control switch. Check the wrapping gum paper thick connections. The connection is prone to bad contacts. There is a procedure to check the servo. A factor manual has the procedure. I remember seeing it in my 83 manuals.
