If you search for ls1 style conversion, or check out the build thread all your answers will be answered. These are very common questions you are asking, and there is a bracket that you can pick up to move the a/c

I would say while you are reading the search that you have just completed, there are probably a few ideas in there.

What motor mounts are you using? I used ECE mounts and I had no clearance issues.

No, the fitting that connects to the compressor is to big. You'll have to get something like this:

The headers came with out the EGR stuff. When I have my computer programmed, I'll have them remove the EGR circuit. I'm not sure which fitting to use yet, I haven't hooked that part of my AC up yet, but I know they will have one that works. Get back with me in a couple of months....

Re: 6.0 Engine conversion NEED HELP FAST!

I had to install my compressor after the motor was in place. It is very tight and somewhat tough to get in place. I made my own motor mounts but it does sit down inside the frame. I bought fittings and had the hoses made.

Re: 6.0 Engine conversion NEED HELP FAST!

I am using the stock trans X-member with stock rubber trans mount along with stock motor stands and poly mounts for the year model truck.
I had to drill one hole for the trans mount b/c the original mount had 2 bolts and the new one has 1 stud.
With the way mine is I was able to use existing holes in the frame.

Yes the tranny needs it's own cooler, the bigger the better! What do you mean "how do I hook up the tranny"?

Fuel injected motors can sit at any angle. I just used the stock 4L60E tranny mount. I didn't have any problems with any of the motor mount bolts, so I'm not sure what to tell you there........
