WTB: need help here, seat adjust handle
I just bought a buddy bucket project thinking every thing was there. Wrong, missing the driver side seat adjust handle.
Q1?: Is it the same as the bench seat handle? Q2?: If not, anyone have one with a good knob for sale? Q3?: Is it the same as some other GM handle that could be found in a junk yard? I'm having connection problems with Charter Cable so it might take a little time to respond. Thanks in advance for any help, input, or ideas! 72junky |

Q1: It's different
Q2: Parts are hard to find, but maybe someone will answer your WTB. Q3: Not that I know of, but let me know if you do, . Here are a couple of pictures....

Hart Rod Thanks! Great pics. It looks like the handle is rivited to the seat track, correct? looks like a custom part might be in order or will need to buy the whole track.

Re: WTB: need help here, seat adjust handle
years ago i had a set with a broken handle and used a rod from an old grocery cart, welded on a ball from an old bearing, flattened the end and bolted it on. it wasn't an exact match but when i sold them, the buyer didn't complain.

Thanks, was headed to the shop now to dig through the "I could use this some day" box and the "to good to throw away" PILE. Good idea with the bearing!
