Air tank mounting
So I am in the process of finishing up mounting my tank and compressor. I would like to mount my tank 7 gallon tank behind the driver side of the cab under the bed. My problem is the tank is too large in diameter and when pushed up all the way against the bottom of the bed, the bottom of the tank is level with the bottom of the quarter panel. What are you air bag guys doing for mounting your tank? What is the location, What tank are you using, just any info will help. This is the final step in my instal and the its drive time.

Re: Air tank mounting
Where are you guys getting your tanks and how? Custom brackets, bolt in weld in, how ? Here are some pics of my set up? Under neath the truck anyway. The tank I have is a seven gallon that measures thirty three inches at the flanges and eight inches tall. If you guys could also let me know if you have pics from old post or anything that I could look at let me know, it will be very helpful.

Re: Air tank mounting
looks like you may have to down size to a 5 gal. or a pair of 3 gal.
i put a 5 gal in the same spot your talking about... it doesnt hang below the bed, sits about 3" up from the bottom of the bed..... |

Re: Air tank mounting
Try to not let the $50 tank define the architecture of your vehicle. Hawk it to a buddy and get one (or 2) that will work for you.
