After market sheetmetal fitment

I bought some doors from brothers trucks and they fit very poorly!Has anyone else ran into problems with this type of problem. I will try to get some pictures up of the problem. It seems as if the door is to small and the gaps around the cab are huge

Not with their sheet metal but with many other Brother's products in general. Poor fitment was an issue with every single product I order from them, and that was just the interior pieces...

it has nothing to do with BROTHERS ? or any other retailer it is just aftermarket sheetmetal in general , a piece of aftermarket sheetmetal is simply something to work with that is rust free ! expect no more than that ,
I looked at a set of door's a guy put on a 68 without doing ANYTHING TO THEM ! the gap's were horrible !

I looked at them good and the correct way to fix them is like this

#1 align them at any point's where they were align properly ? maybe they will fit good up around the cab ? in other words do all you can do with a wrench ,

#2 look at what is left fitting poorly in the case of the one's I looked at it was the gap's were HUGE !

in this case you can try and shove the door and get a good gap on one side then split the door about a 1/4 from the edge and ad some metal to make the gap look good , or just do both end's that way ,

Thanks for the replys guys! Im starting to beleive that the only way to save them is to add to the door. Anyone have pics of doing this?

I just thought of something , if you had two old door's they most of the time are not rusted out on the edge's you could cut your donor piece from and old one and just weld it on , I don't have any pic's but this should not be to bad of a job , and the finished door will be well worth it ,
