72 Super part-out (feeler ad)

Debating parting out my project to pursue other things and spend more time with the family. None of this stuff is officially for sale unless I can generate enough interest to basically sell everything. Here is what I have...

A/C cab, perfect floor and supports, very minor rust in rocker, a-pillar area.
Over all very solid. Will need some normal repairs. Comes with clear title and vin tag. $300 picked up.

Forgot to add, rust free, nearly perfect 72 doors. Complete. $300 for the pair.

Shortbed chassis, blasted and Por-15 painted. Everything rebuilt. All new cross shafts, ball joints, rotors, calipers, you name it. Everything is ready to go. ECE 2 1/2 spindles and 2 inch drop small block springs. 6 inch drop springs in the rear. Adjustable super trac bar, rebuilt diff, 3.73 gears and a rebuilt posi. All new clutches, bearings, seals, etc. Impals SS rear discs, cross drilled rotors front and rear. All 4 new calipers and cross drilled rotors, stainless brake lines, 73-87 style engine mounts. Front sway bar with poly bushings, 8 inch Truck ralley rollers, etc, etc, etc.
$1500 picked up.

.030 over 1975 454 long block. Keith Black dome pistons, Lunati 60202 cam, 781 heads fully rebuilt, all machine work done on engine and heads. Comp Cams Roller rockers and pushrods. Comp timing chain set. Have receipts for all work. This was not just pieced together. This is an assembled long block minus the roller rockers. They're still in the box. Comes with oil pan and turbo 400 flywheel. $1500 Picked up.

New in package cab and core support mount kit. $100 shipped in lower 48.

Rust free 69-72 core support. $100 picked up.

Truck tilt column. This is not a van column. Tilt unit is tight. Just needs a new turn signal switch because one wire was messed up. $300 plus shipping.

Re-pop delux marker lights. Have front and rear as well as taillight lenses and backup light lenses. One backup light lens has a chip on corner. Dont think it will be seen once installed. $100 shipped for all.

4 rear wheel tubs, Not rusted. $40 per set.

Front panel for wood bed. Nearly perfect. No rust. $80

Rear panel for wood bed. OK condition, no rust. Will throw in with front panel if interested.

Woodgrain aluminum 72 door panel inserts with trim pieces. The trim is not reproduced and these are very nice. $60 for all 4 pieces.

I know I am missing some stuff and I will post later what I find. I will not start parting this stuff out unless the chassis and cab get sold first.

Please let me know if you need pics. We know what most of this stuff looks like. Thanks alot.

Re: 72 Super part-out (feeler ad)

You've assembled a great collection of parts, but I know where you're coming from. It's really easy to get consumed by these projects. My suggestion would be to stick it in the garage and lock the door. Open it back up when you feel you've achieved the balance you're looking for. Best of luck and take care..

I would be interested in those woodgrain Door panels providing pics. Also, if you have a woodgrain dash bezel and woodgrain super glovebox door, I would be interested in them as well. Trevor

Everything is packed in the garage right now and I cant get to them at this moment. You will not find any rust on these doors ANYWHERE. I looked them over probably 10 times each. Hinge mounting area is perfect, bottom corners are perfect, only issue is someone cut a 4 inch or so hole for speakers. NO RUST ANYWHERE PERIOD. If someone buys the cab they have first shot at the doors. If they do not want them you will be first in line and I will try to get pics later if still needed.

The panels you speak of are the inserts for the Cheyenne Super, not the whole door panel. you'll be 2nd in line if 71blksuper4x4 passes. I will try to get pics tonight for you guys. I will ship the chassis if you set everything up. My zip is 27587 if you want to get an estimate.

Re: 72 Super part-out (feeler ad)

The cab is a 72. Looks like the sale might be on hold for a while. My wife asked why I was trying to upload pics so I told her. Well, that didn't sit too well. Apparently, someone may or may not be buying me the 20 and 22 inch Foose nitrous wheels I've been wanting for my b-day. I guess everybody got together and pitched in. I would hate to piss everyone off if they bought me some Foose wheels and I had no truck to put them on. I am sorry but I will keep you guys updated. I am sure you guys can understand though. Thanks

I would be interested in the doors if I haven't found a set by the time you decide to part it out.

If you decide to part it out, I would like to buy the cab and doors. I live in Asheville, NC and can pick them up. Thanks, Scott
