I am gonna do the NV3500. You can see my thread going about the info I have found on them so far. And, chime in with anything you know.

Re: What tranny u runnin?

th350. if i could i would switch out to a 4-on-the-floor manual. hell we had a debate in my shop today over manuals and autos. i prefer manuals. but a good th350 will only take you 35hp to make it do its thing

Re: What tranny u runnin?

The '73 has a th400 with a kit...

The '62 has a B&M th350 with a kit, backed by a GearVendors OD...

Both trucks have 3.73's...

Super ditto here! TH350C, and I can't wait until it's gone! Except my replacement guts are 2006.

Re: What tranny u runnin?

Plow truck sm465 and 203 transfer

One ton 400

84 mud truck 350 and 205 transfer

All work good for me The 400 and the 4 speed are untouched. The 350 I busted the case after acting like like a goof jumping a 4 wheeler ramp.Up until then I beat on it every weekend HARD for two years

Nothing, I just made it a twin stick so that it wouldn't pop out of low lock (and it just looks cool). But once I can come up with the cash for the adapter I will be putting a NP205 behind the front half of the NP203.
