68 3/4ton short box
not sure if this is rare or not. you be the judge. thanks all. I have not done much to this truck. just some some upkeep and oil change. gave 2,700.00 for it three weeks ago. only 15k on the motor. runs perfect!!! disc breaks..etc will post more detailed pics of the engine and underside today some time. its been a fun project to start.

Re: 68 3/4ton short box
Good looking project truck. The axles are not factory to your truck. They never made a 3/4 swb truck. Someone swapped in the later model 8 lug axles, probably for the disc brakes. I see someone already installed a late model seat as well.
Good luck and have fun with it. Welcome aboard as well.

Re: 68 3/4ton short box
Gonna have to replace the spring packs to a more modern 3/4ton set for the smother ride. the ones that are on here now are in a set of 9!! leafs....rough ridding. this is my daily driver so kinda wanna keep my back from being sore and don't wanna have to wear a helmet to keep from hitting my head on the headliner.......HA HA HA
