Amsoil in everything I own, except the 85. Haven't switched yet, I'll wait until the 5.3L is in there.

Im a GTX 10w30 guy myself. I just to run the 20w50 in all of my old cars until the Castrol racing team guys came to my shop. They had their backup funny car there for a demo. We were talking about oils and what to use. I told them I us 20w50 in my build 350 and the guy told me that was way to thick and if anything robbing me of HP and hurting my engine. One it takes longer for the oil to get to the heads and the heavy weight oil takes more power to pump. He said unless you are running 500 or more HP and 10w30 is the magic number (10w40 max). When I switched I sware I get better MPG's. But you know how that goes, anytime you do something you think it's working lol. Anyways, in short he did make a valid point and seeing that he works for an oil company I figured I'd take his advice.
