New Project......Parts and Tranny question?

Hi guys we just picked up my sons new project yesterday. He has a 69 we are working on too. Just thought this would get him on the road a lot quicker, plus it seemed like it was a good deal. It is need of an engine (junked 305) for sure maybe rebuild on the tranny. Not a bad deal $600 cash. Silverado package with a solid body....NO RUST anywhere that I have found yet. Everything looks to be OEM....Interior is hammered. Anyway, I have never owned this vintage, I'm wondering what kind of tranny this truck would have? 350 turbo? 700r? I noticed it has an electronic connection on one side. I will try to get better pics tonight.

Also, where do you guys buy new interior parts? door panels, carpet, seat covers, etc? Thanks,

Mike
