Front Glass?

Any recommendations on where I can get a decent front windshield? Amidst the various other updates I need to do on my truck, it just dawned on me that I have an enormous crack in my front windshield. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks!!!

Re: Front Glass?

a local mobile glass service should be able to fix you up. I have heard of several ppl breaking them when trying to install, so it's worth payin a lil more to have it installed, that way if they breake it, they buy it.

Re: Front Glass?

I was quoted $200 for a new windhield installed as long as I supply the gasket. That was from a local glass shop. Ask around, they don't seem to expensive.

Re: Front Glass?

Make sure you use a good quality gasket.IIRC the best are made by "Superior" but hopefully someone will chime in to verify that. The cheaper ones tend to rumple up in the corners and cause leaks.
