technology is a wonderful thing

Just go the trans computer programmed for the Gearstar 4l65E that's behind the LS1 in my '73 C10. With 3.08 gears in the stock 12 bolt and 27 1/2 inch tall tires, it cruises effortlessly at 1,700 rpm at 70 mph. It does 80 mph at 2,000 rpm without the engine lugging.

speedo isn't working yet so i dont know what the mpg is, but man is it a smooth ride.

Re: technology is a wonderful thing

I knew that truck looked familiar. The rendering was in the back of Sport Truck recently.

MPG should be easy. Top off the tank, write down the miles on the clock, take a road trip, top off again, write down the miles, do some math.

My truck gets 14.65 @ 70mph. This POS 305/5.0 has to go...
