He is what I did.

The way I came up with it was to literally set the speakers on the shelf behind the seat. I wanted it to sit as low as possible because I want the seat to go back as far as possible. I have longs legs and need the seat back as far as possible. I tilted the top back to follow the angle of the back of the seat. That gave me the angle I wanted for the front. From there that determined the projection of the top and the bottom from the back wall on the side piece. When I finished with it I took it to the guys that did the tweed on my door panels and had him do the speaker encloser as well. I made the back board wide enough to hold the amps as well.

With the seat all the way back I have about 1/2 inch between the seat and the grills over the speakers. That is why I have the speakers tilted back at the top it gave me the most amount of room.

Re: Speaker box diagram

This is what I had at first;

It was shortly replaced by this;

The first one kept the extra leg room. The second one is more fun...

Re: Speaker box diagram

well I have to get new tires the fronts are like slicks and a new alternator then I'll get back on, I took the sub box out because my subs are starting to act up so I would I have the box all fished at least be able to use for a week before they go, and at show I would raise up the center seat and its unnoticeable

Probably not they should have a rating on them. Are they a name brand you should be able to find out how much they'll handle

Amps are not expensive I'd buy a smaller one. Or get more speaker or you'll wind up blowing them up.

Re: Speaker box diagram

when dealing with speakers and amps, you need to make sure that the RMS ratings on both of them are the same. If the amp is more, just turn it down. here is a good site to look at. www.onlinecarstereo.com lots of info on it.
