Unidentified bolted object ???
What is this ???
It's located next to the passenger side tank. 80 chevy C-10 I am sure it has something to do with the fuel system, but unable to locate a picture in my chevy manual. Sorry to be lame, but I am not up to date with fuel systems. Thanks Bill |

That's a fuel tank selector solenoid.

actually it appears the switch is no longer operating..

No longer working is correct, I am pulling parts off and did not want to discard something I may need, but since I am going to run with one tank I no longer need this.
