chevy 3100 dump
Can anyone help me decode this serial # 2TV-G1775 I think its pre '55 chevy 3100 w/gallion dump on it. Thanks rogerd

Thanks so much. I knew it was early 50's. It has 20 inch rubber on it but the hood has 3100 badges that were confusing me.There is a huge brake booster underneath that I think is leaking into the engine through vacuum because it smokes real bad but no loss of engine oil (changed to a 62 chevy two) though the brake fluid runs right through w/no obvious leaks. Any info on this situation would be very helpful also. Again thank you very much. rogerd
