Spid pic... kind of unusual truck

Went and looked at this one today. Pretty unique truck. Been sitting for awhile now and has plenty of rust. It would make a good start for someone, but probably not me. Enjoy

That thing had some great options! What were they asking for it?

He said he has a standing offer of $1000 and hasn't taken it. It hasn't been run in a few years now. I thought the green on green and promo pkg C were interesting.

The green on green was a med. olive roof with a dark olive lower.
Promo pkg C would be Highlander plaid trim, special wheel covers, custom deluxe equipment, chrome bumper, upper molding, door edge gaurds, below eye-line mirrors, turbo hydra-matic, power steering, comfortilt steering, air conditioning, and soft ray glass. A pretty nice package i would say...

Highlander had three levels of options in the package A,B,C - C was the highest option package available for the highlander, A was pretty basic.

Package A had what i listed through the below eyeline mirrors.
Package B had those options plus the turbo hydro trans, power steering, and tilt steering.
Package C added the A/C and soft-ray glass on top of A and B

Re: Spid pic... kind of unusual truck

That was a nice truck. He should take the $1,000 or pull it loose from it`s perches and get it running to sell for more,IMO.My K/20 Highlander was a pkg A,yet had all the other options, and then some, because the original owner wanted a 4spd.You could sure get a unique truck back then.

I want that hard hat!

Re: Spid pic... kind of unusual truck

Exactly how bad is the rust? Are the floors, rockers, corners, drip rail all gone? If its fixable I would say 1k is a steal for MN. Do you have his contact info or a GPS waypoint? I might be interested.
