Hello all, I bought 2 new (used) steering wheels from 88-95 type steering wheels for my 72 burb and 72 pickup because they are much smaller. My problem is that I'm not sure how to connect the horns. The Horns worked on both vehicles before the swap, so I have all the parts for OE style but the newer ones have a different type contact surface mechanism that doesn't match up. I was wondering has anyone installed this type of wheel and horn and what is the setup information. Picts would be great if possible. The newer wheels have a wire that connects to the wheel frame with a spring and plastic sheath on other end. Am I missing any parts for the newer wheels?
Thanks in advance! Last edited by 69nova; 08-04-2009 at 08:38 PM. |
