butter wax ?
Bought some stuff today made by valvoline called butter wax . $16 a pint . It's a yellow carnuba that is sopposed to give you a wet look . Gonna rub it into the powerstroke as the surf city has about 6 weeks on it . Anybody have any experience with it ? That old Ford must be lovin it when i try out new stuff .

USC Paint Protector
3M Perfect-It are similar products but we use the Car-Brite from Valvoline since they let us put Valvoline on our company Shirts |

Re: butter wax ?
It went on good . I put it on with a black LC foam pad with my PC orbit . . We will see . Not as soft as the surf city , but it feels good . Must have a touch of cut to it cause it took out some spiderwebbing . Of course i use only the minimum cut needed to get the effect i need . Mike i wish you where still painting , it would have been an honor to have you paint my 68' Camaro .

it does cut somewhat. On new paint it helps take out swirl marks. I am just getting too old to paint or too something. After 2 heart attacks and 2 strokes i think I should stay away from painting anymore. I probably won't but I am trying. My cousin had a shop I worked in and it killed him at 48. Of course none of us wore all the PPE they have now |
