it does cut somewhat. On new paint it helps take out swirl marks.
I am just getting too old to paint or too something. After 2 heart attacks and 2 strokes i think I should stay away from painting anymore. I probably won't but I am trying. My cousin had a shop I worked in and it killed him at 48. Of course none of us wore all the PPE they have now
