Re: what model is this truck??
By looking at the wheels I would guess it is a 3/4 ton or 1 ton..What #'s are on the front fenders... 10= 1/2, 20=3/4 , 30=1 ton. I am pretty sure the Id # tells you also but I dont know how to decipher it. I'm sure somebody will let you know how to though.

Re: what model is this truck??
It looks like a 63 model for sure. The wrap around windshield and those fender emblems both point to a 63.

Well the price is right. You can always part it out if your not going to use it.

Re: what model is this truck??
If you are going to lower it and convert it to 5 lug, it dosent really matter the tonnage.... all that stuff will get changed out anyway.
the 3/4 ton and 1 ton had a little thicker frame , and the rear cab mounts are different , but that is it. you might have to pay a little more to register it since it is a 3/4, or 1 ton.. in montana I only had to pay 15$ more for mine since it wa a 3/4 ton. now its on a completely different frame, and probably is only a 1/4 ton, but for 15$ I am not going to open up that can of worms with the state... my 61 3/4 ton... |

Re: what model is this truck??
I would be all over that for free regardless if it is a 1 ton or not. Like Jon said the frames are basically the same C10, 20 & 30. You would most likely want to upgrade to front discs if you had a 1/2 ton anyway, and it would be no different whether you start with a 1/2 ton or a 1 ton.
Does the free deal include the extra parts too?
