My short step update!!!
Have been working like crazy on this thing. It is a 1985 with a 502/th400 and 4.11 gears. It went throw a 400 already after 2500 miles ripped the bell off the thing so pulled it out an put a j.w. ultra bell on it with a b&m pan a shift kit. Than i bought a 4 inch harwood bolt on hood and new tires all the way around the thing. They are mickey thompson sportsman s/r's 26x8-15 front and 29x15-15s rear

the bs on the wheels are 5 inch but my step side box is 15 and 1/4 inches wheel well width, my 2wd blazer is a inch smaller so check your fleet side for room if you do this
