That would definitely work for sure. However I could go with a summit aluminum radiator with T-cooler for about $60.00 less at that price. I think I get a discount through my school though and I could use my existing lines. I'll have to check. Regardless the truck is parked again. I'll drive it ONE more time to school to put it in the shop to start straightening it out. I'll do a trans swap (and maybe motor swap) with the body off. I'm tired of crawling around underneath gettin all nasty and stuff. I start takin the bus tomorrow. It's time.

Re: hAetwagon's 65 Progress thread..
Well, I'm 3 days away from the end of my first phase at school.
Top of class, perfect attendance and I'm done with all my competenices. This means I get to work on my own truck for extra credit and I've done so today. I've already pulled all the dents that have bothered me out. There's one particularly nasty one on the roof that I'll ned to shrink after I bring it all up. The last few moments before lunch I was pulling on a stud and tapping around it with a body hammer to get it to smooth and the stud let go and I punched myself in the face pretty hard. I laughed til I had tears in my eyes for a few minutes until I realized I pulled a hole in the roof where the stud was at...no biggie. I'm going to go back here in a few and start welding up some holes and shizz. I love this stuff. I'll be throwing filler on by the end of the day and may get a coat of roll on primer or two on there and then the fun begins..

Some pics...not as many as I'd like.
Technically we can't have phones in school. I needed to document these somehow..
These pics are missing the all important "befores" for the most part. Rest assured my Driver's door was nasty. The door was a swap with a door off of a custom that had trim holes. The PO attempted to fill the holes and ground them concave thinning the wonderfully thick sheetmetal to oblivion leaving pinholes in the process. I blew through with a stud gun a couple places within an inch of good metal in some areas in under a half a second. When it was all said and done the door came out perfect. It took a lot of work and showed how anal I am. In the end...I'm ashamed to hang it back on the truck..lol

Metal work.
Some of my biggest irritants have been a huge kink in my DS bed Rail. I worked it out and got it pretty darn close. I've since filled it and worked it but I was not able to get pics. Moving forward I'll be taking a lot as I got it cleared citing portfolio reasons.

Re: hAetwagon's 65 Progress thread..
That's awesome. I never even thought of that.
I need to get pics of my PS bed panel. Someone got VERY excited with their filler. It's pretty mangled underneath. I'm debating just replacing it.

Re: hAetwagon's 65 Progress thread..
Thanks Guys.
I spent the day doing some metal work on my buddy's 65 Galaxy. His PS Fender was mangled somehow. I removed it from the car and reworked it back to it's original shape mostly. I'm not even going to attempt to use his flux core welder again. I pulled everything I needed to to get it ready for filler. The whole car is going to need to be wiped but it'll look good. It's a bit frustrating not having the right tools but that will come.

It may just be his welder too. It's almost as if the wire feeds erratically. Regardless, you will definitely love gas.
