SouthSide StepSide

Hey guys, first time posting on here but i read it everyday. I have a 66 steper that im working on and think i may have a problem with where the rear tire sits in the fender. When i bought the truck it looked like the rear tire sat to far back in the fender but i also noticed that the PO had had the fenders off and where reinstalled in the wrong holes. Since then i put a new {better} bed on the truck but the wheel still seems to sit back a little. I will post pics as soon as i figure out how.
if anyone has profile pics of 4-5-6 stepside that i could see, please post them

thanks chris

Re: SouthSide StepSide

Just an idea... but maybe the truck was shortened to a SWB at some point in it's life and someone didn't get their measurements quite right before they welded the frame back together.

Re: SouthSide StepSide

Welcome to the board

Does your truck have coil rear suspension or leafs? If leafs, it could be a broken leaf or a broken center bolt.

Highlight the photobucket link and copy it.
then paste it in your reply here. That should work I think.
