Info for all years unless specifically noted

Engines:
250 six, 307 v8, 350 v8, maybe 292 six.
No big blocks ever factory produced

Trannys:

3 speed manual column shift
4 speed floor shift with granny low
3 Speed automatics 70-72 only

Xfer cases:

Np205 in 70-72 for all trannys except 3 speed manual
Dana's were put behind the 3 speed manuals
In 69, I know trucks had the Rockwell, not sure of Blazers.

I'm sure you'll get other feedback that may contradict this buit thats part of the fun.

CPNE - Good call. I had a 3-speed manual in my truck in front of a NP205 before I made it a TH350/NP205. I sold the tranny to a board member in Iowa who was intending to put it in his 67-72 that came from the factory with a 3-speed/NP205.

Now that you mention it I parted a 72 1/2 ton 4x4 that had a 3 speed manual with an NP205, yet the 71 chassis overhaul manual clearly shows the dana 20 xfer case so it was definately used. Only for Blazer applications from what I was told.

mrein3, is your example from a truck or Blazer?

The truck it came in originally was a 1971 K10.
