Gauges...........
........I want to add factory gauges to my '71. (No tach.) A member here has a correct dash harness, is that all I need? Does it use the same engine harness? Thanks.

Re: Gauges...........
You will need the headlight harness from a full guage truck as well because of the anmeter gauge. The engine harness (starter, coil, temp sender) is interchangeable, so you can use what you have (just tape off the oil pressure switch wire). You'll also want to get a temp sender unit for guages from the auto parts store and the oil pressure line and fittings off a donor truck.
FYI, I'm pulling those inner fenders tonight

Re: Gauges...........
You also have to move a wire on the dash harness connector. There's a FAQ on it in the FAQ section.
