When I first picked up the truck years ago....this was my first time even seeing one of these 60-66's up close, let alone owning one. It wasn't till John (chevyfleetside) years ago pointed out to me that ALL the body seams were filled...I just didn't even pay attention. The previous owner filled all the seams up. Then, at one time I wanted to paint my grill white, and/or add a back-ground white...there was no seam there, so I asked where should I mask ? () That was filled too. The Chief is a solid truck...the floors are very solid, and there is rust just now showing thru the doors, and lower fenders.... So, this is what I meant....It does have some 'filler', but I didn't mean it was caved in and gallons were used. I hood is solid, and in better shape than the BBW, but it too has had its seams filled. It actually looks really good...however it should be welded first. Man..that is funny right there. I can actually picture you getting pissed off at the comment, and writing that !! Thanks Rich...I had a good laugh !!
