it has a 283 powerglide. my plymouth has a 350/350 i was thinking it may be better in the truck.

my buddy cut and tacked it i did the rest. all the glass is flat except for the rear and it stock 50 desoto just rocked forward and down a bit.

So is the roof desoto? Or did you have the glass and then matched the orginal roof the glass?

we used the rear roof section of the desoto roof. here are some pics to give you an idea.

Nice job dude. Thanks for the pictures. I so want to chop somthing. I love those old cars. Almost as much as old trucks. I don't think the trucks look good chopped though. That blends in so good you did'nt even need filler. Nice work.

it's alot of work it did need some filler not alot though. i agree with you on these trucks being chopped. i would say most cars from the late 50's up don't need to be chopped. i scored on my car because it is a hardtop none of the garnish mouldings need to cut. that saved alot of time.

what's up who pull the lines for you would like to get mine striped. I also have a louvered 6 rows of 15 would like to get more i bought it at swap a 1 1/2 years ago for $50 and plus 2 grills can't beat that. haven't installed it yet!
