1953 window replacement

I am a newbie here and was wondering what I need to do to get the windows out. Also at the bottom of the window there is a piece of metal that is rusted out. The glass sits inside of the rusted piece and right below there is a track that is connected to the arm coming off of the regulator. Is there someplace that sells a reproduction piece? Thanks for your help.

I think this is the piece you are looking for. http://www.classicparts.com/1951-54-...info/70%2D935/
I think you'll have to take out the vent window if you want the main window to come out in one piece. There are several small screws at the top of the vent window frame, and one bolt at the bottom of the vertical track portion.

Don't forget the bolt at the bottom or you will wrestle with it for hours wondering why it moves but wont come out..

Here is the manual pages on the subject. Sorry it took me a while, I've got a newborn at home and my brain doesn't seem to work so well any more
