brake kits for 86

I was wondering what the big deal is about our trucks, i cant find a decent affordable brake kit for my truck. I found a good deal on a wilwood rear kit but the matching front kit is about 2500 bucks someone please tell me there is some relief here somewhere i want to upgrade the brakes on my truck and i cant find anything to my liking. What about corvette brakes anything we can do to retrofit these brakes to fit?

Re: brake kits for 86

thats a tough one... i went w/ new stock HD fronts and the blackbirds kit that matches perfect in the rear. its hard to find anything that matches front to back w/o breaking the bank or doubling the budget. the other option would be to get 2 piston calipers as an upgrade to the stockers because the front and rear calipers are the same (HD calipers)in the kit. just my .02. if your looking for a bigger diameter rotor kit your looking at some bucks.

i know Ken (n2trux) has been researching for a kit so he will probably chime in w/ some good info. good luck man.
