I think I'm going with a Holley carb...
On my previous post "if I should get a Holley" for my 1970 C20 with a 396/402 CID http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=357782
mclairmo suggested this Holley carb: Holley 0-80555C Model 4175 650 CFM Spread Bore 4-Barrel Vacuum Secondary Electric Choke. I can purchase this carb at Amazon for $378.00 http://tinyurl.com/nm4pts. Is anybody using this carb on their truck? do you have a positive or negative comment to share about this carb you are using? |

Another option would be a rebuilt Quadrajet from Summit. $300 IIRC
Edit: Here's one: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-210200/
