Air pressure gauge mounting location (67-72)
Where is everyone mounting their gauges? I just bought a Dakota Digital gauge and was thinking about mounting it where the ash tray is. It might take a little fabrication but I digress, let's see some pics.

Re: Air pressure gauge mounting location (67-72)
I mounted my ARTcontroller in the console of my blazer,... but that doesn't help much for the pickup guys.
I think most people mount them in a seperate panel under the dash. I always thought a 7-hole (or even the 3-hole) stock dash bezel could be modified to house the air gauges.

Re: Air pressure gauge mounting location (67-72)
I am considering mounting mine where the radio was and moving the radio to the glovebox. The other thought was cutting out the center section of the dash, welding in a flat piece of steel and then installing gauges where the ashtray would have been and having the radio mount in the flat portion above that.

i would try to avoid cutting the dash just in case you ever want to move em. im thinking of putting mine in a steel plate just below the dash, or build a little console and mount them in there.

My Dakota Digital gauge has been mounted in a drawer in my office for nearly 3 years. I suppose I should do something with it.
