You can get an LC1 for about $200, and that's almost what I'd charge for one like I use in complete, ready to plug in form.

The LC1 has less features, and you wouldn't have a display, but at least you'd have a warranty, and some kind of reliable support. With an LC1, you'd need to hook it up to a laptop to see the AFR (or you could add on your own gauge to it...)

I wouldn't trash the idea of me building and testing them for people, but I wouldn't want anything to do with "hey, it stopped working, what now??" types of things. I wouldn't have the time or resources to support it after it passed my QC and testing. After that, it would have to be up to you...

The truck that has this 402 in it is in almost perfect shape. It is a beautiful sky blue and white 2 tone, with very very little rust. The inside of cab is awesome with everything original. It has 89,000 original miles. Good tires, hub caps all around. It is a camper special with tilt wheel, factory sliding window with all the paper work. I can get her for $4000. I'm really leaning towards buying her and making it my daily driver.

he's been trying to sell that rusted thing for months.
you did notice the lower third of the cab was missing, right?

With the stock motor and Q-jet, along with 3.73's that help me out around town, maybe 14mpg if i'm driving nice. Running 3000 rpm at 70, not so much. Getting rid of my ramhorns and downpipes crimped to 1.5" or so each should help it breath alot better at speed. Going to Hooker long tubes and a 3" otl single with an xr-1. Along with my summit velocity stack look cotton gauze air cleaner in the mail to replace the stocker snorkel. I really want to get a wide band to get it "just so". But as much as I like my q-jet, a coworker of my dad's is giving me a free thunder avs and they're 1000X easier to tune.
