DJM Control Arm Problem
when i had DJM control arms installed i could not get the alignment correct. I had to make custom upper control arm mounting bolts (2" longer). then i had to use lots of shims and welded them together after it was aligned. Has anybody had to do this? Im starting to wonder if they put the arms on the wrong side. One side of the arm is longer than the other, can anyone tell me which side is which?
Also, does it matter if the ball joint is mounted on top or bottom of the control arm? Thanks, any help would be appreciated. |

Re: DJM Control Arm Problem
I can't offer any solutions, but when I did the DJM LCA's on my '06, I could never get the alignment right.
And they weren't very helpful in trying to figure out what was wrong - "there must be something wrong with your truck". That I had since new and was putting these parts on with about 6k on it. I will be looking else were in the future when buying suspension parts.
