man stuff just keeps brakin so i finely got all my problems worked out for my truck but now my gass guage wont tell me how much gas i really have in the tank except every now and then, most the time itle read E and then i hit a speed bump and bam broke a shock mount lmao luckily my truck had dual front shocks so i just gotta change the shocks location....but while i got the shocks off whats a good but purity cheep shock i can put on there...cuz i might as well change them my truck dosent take bumps well lol and heck if any one has bared through this ready...whats wrong with my gas gauge

sounds like you either have a bad ground, or possibly the gauge sender in the tank is bad..

I use monroe gas magnum in all my trucks. They are more expensive than regular monroe (not by too much though) but they are a far heavier duty shock (larger piston, takes more abuse)

always a good idea to reset your odometer everytime you fill up. gas gauges break, but if you know your mileage and pay attention to the od, then you'll be alright. This has saved me more than once.

Yo! Haven't troubleshot mine yet 'cause I've got twin tanks, and I just switch when it runs outta gas.
Mine pegs beyond Full, indicating that it detects an open circuit (zero volts). Below Empty would indicate a short (12v) in your fuel sender wire. You'll need to trace that pink, or light brown, wire from the dash to the sender,...PITA, huh? My senders are brand new (I hope they're good!) but you could need to replace your sender. Seems these trucks are plauged with this fuel gauge problem. Todd.
