Core Supports
Are the core supports the same from 67 to 72? I am going to make my 69 short step into a 67 short wide. I was wondering if I need to use the core support from my 67 or can I unbolt the sheet metal from the front end and use the core suport from the 69? I have been spending so much time on my 64 that I have forgotten everything I knew about the 67-72.

The 67 support is different from the 69.

67-68 are same. 69-72 are same. Why would you want to convert a short step to a short fleet? Oh well, it's your truck.

You're right JRBECK64. If everybody had the same tastes, we'd all be driving the same truck. To answer your question I'm sure they did but I don't know how many. Wood beds were an option on fleet beds in those years. I would think that a short fleet bed from any 67-72 truck would fit your 67 frame. Maybe some other members out there would like to comment on this. Good luck with your truck!
